Actress Rose McGowan's house caught fire and almost burnt down but no one was injured.
The former 'Charmed' actress, who is set to marry her artist boyfriend Davey Detail later this month, was not at her Los Angeles home when it almost went up in flames but her neighbour and Yahoo! heiress Courtenay Semel saved the day by calling the fire brigade, reported Us magazine.
The 39-year-old beauty tweeted, "Well, my house almost burnt down tonight. Thanks Courtenay Semel for calling the fire dept and saving my house."
She later added, "Back in the house. It smells like burnt metal and my eyes are burning. Grateful."
McGowan recently revealed she is getting married on October 12 at a former nunnery in New Orleans, Louisiana in a small ceremony.
The actress will walk down the aisle in an Oscar de la Renta wedding dress and is excited to celebrate their honeymoon in Tahiti.
McGowan was previously engaged to 'Beautiful People' rocker Marilyn, but she ended their three-and-a-half year relationship in 2001 citing a 'lifestyle difference'.
She was also set to marry her 'Grindhouse' director Robert Rodriguez after they began a relationship while filming the movie in 2007 but they split in October 2009.
