RPG Life Sciences today said company Managing Director Ajit Singh Chouhan has resigned.
The Board of Directors by way of circular resolution passed on September 22, 2014, has accepted his resignation and consented to relieve him on close of working hours on September 30, 2014.
Chouhan will continue as a Director on the Board of the Company, RPG Life Sciences aid in a filing on BSE.
"Till the new Managing Director is appointed, V K Singh, Chief Executive - API, Biotech and Global Generics will-- oversee the day-to-day operations of the company," it added.
Shares of RPG Life Sciences today closed at Rs 116.70 per scrip on BSE, up 1.08 per cent fro its previous close.
