Pradip Vishwanath Vighe and his associate Mahesh Bhupendra Singh arrived here from Mumbai, carrying jewellery worth Rs 1,57,82,000, and took an auto rickshaw to go to their company office in Gandhibagh.
However, the accused stopped the rickshaw near the station, took the bag containing the jewellery at knife point and rode off on a motorcycle.
No arrests were made till late evening.
