Minister of state for PWD Thakur Gulab Singh said this at a press conference here today.
He said 500 km new roads would be constructed and 600 km roads metalled. Besides, 30 road bridges would be constructed.
Singh also that a 4940-mt long road tunnel through Dhouladhar Ranges would be dug to connect Kangra with Chamba district.
The BJP government in the state has laid 3,322 km roads and constructed 240 bridges so far, he added.
