Rs 2,400-cr spent to improve electricity infra: Telangana Min

In order to provide uninterrupted power supply, the Telangana government has spent Rs 2,400 crore to improve the electricity infrastructure, state Minister K T Rama Rao today said.

Rs 2,400 crore have been spent by the Telangana government for establishment of electricity sub-stations, erecting transformers and laying electricity lines in the state, the Industries, Municipal and Information Technology Minister told gathering.

KTR inaugurated a 132/33 KV Electricity Sub Station at at Chippala palli village in the district.

"The Telangana government is committed to provide uninterrupted power supply in the state," he said.

Meanwhile, KTR along with state Power Minister and SC and ST welfare Minister G Jagadishwar Reddy and Transport Minister P.Mahender Reddy inaugurated "integrated social welfare hostel for boys' in Mustabad mandal.
