The authorities today seized Rs 2.66 lakh unaccounted cash and 7725 litre liquor during sustained drive ahead of the Assembly polls in Bihar.
The police seized Rs 2.66 lakh unaccounted cash in Rohtas district, while 7725 litre liquor was recovered from various parts of the state, the office of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) said in a release.
To enforce the Model Code of Conduct, two cases of defacement of private properties have been registered.

On the law and order front, 22 weapons/arms and 53 cartridges have been seized from various parts of the state, besides 53 arms licences verified, 2324 licenced arms deposited, licences of 157 arms cancelled and 789 non-bailable warrants executed, the release said.
The police also collected Rs 12.67 lakh fine during vehicle checking, it said.
