Four security staff were today questioned for allegedly misappropriating Rs two crore cash meant for depositing in ATMs in Tirupur, 47 km from here, police said.
The agency had been given the contract to deposit money in ATMs of different banks, they said adding a recent audit revealed a mismatch of Rs two crore deposited and transacted over a certain period of time.
Police suspect the staff might have deposited lesser amounts of money than claimed in their documents.
