Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today announced aid of Rs three lakh to the kin of the person killed in yesterday's violence in Singrauli.
The Chief Minister also announced an aid of Rs 25,000 each to the six injured persons from the Chief Minister's Discretionary Fund.
The state government has set up an inquiry commission of retired District Judge RS Tripathi to probe into the incident. It will submit its report within three months.

Meanwhile, the situation in curfew-bound areas in the town was under control with no fresh untoward incident reported from anywhere, district collector M Selvendran told PTI.
The violence started in the town, some 650-km from Bhopal, yesterday following the recovery of the body of one Akhilesh Sahu, who had been picked up by the police for questioning in connection with a case about 6-7 days back, from a well.
In the ensuing police firing, a man called Nateeb Siddiqui was killed. Administration imposed a curfew.
The curfew is still in place, and the administration will review the situation tomorrow, the collector said.
