: The Tamil Nadu government today announced an overall relief of Rs 30 lakh to the families of 10 police personnel killed in road accidents, besides those who died of natural causes.
In a statement, Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa condoled the death of the policemen and expressed her sympathies with the families of the deceased.
She directed that a sum of Rs three lakh be paid from the Chief Minister's General Relief Fund to the next of kin of the deceased cops.
