Rs 30 lakh seized at Indo-Nepal border

Sahastra Seema Bal officials have seized Rs 30 lakh in cash, suspected to be black money, from a place under Palanwa police station on Indo-Nepal border.

SSB Deputy Commandant, Sunil Kumar today said four persons riding on two motorcycles were stopped near Bhelahi canal roundabout late last night in East Champaran district and Rs 30 lakh in cash was seized from them.

On being informed about the seizure, Income Tax officials have reached SSB headquarters at Piprakothi in East Champaran district and started questioning the four persons about the money.

The four were identified as Madan Sah, Rakesh Kumar, Ravi Kumar and Santosh Yadav, the SSP Deputy Commandant said.
