The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) said around Rs 358 crore as land dues has to be recovered from 16 builders and recovery certificates have been issued in the matter.
Ghaziabad District Magistrate Ritu Maheshwari, who holds the additional charge of GDA vice chairman said recovery certificates have been issued to those builders owe more than Rs 50 lakh to the agency.
The recovery certificates have been issued for not paying the fees for initial allotments, compounding and map sanctioning, the official said.
Maheshwari said recovery certificates have been sent to the tehsildars and if dues are not paid, FIRs will be lodged against the builders.
