A loader employed with a private airline was picked up for questioning after officials recovered Rs 52 lakh worth gold from him.
CISF personnel at the airport, who checked J Emmanuel on suspicion, found him allegedly concealing 1.65 kg of gold in his pant pockets, police said, adding he was later handed over to Customs officials for interrogation.
A probe was on from various angles including to ascertain if he had acted as a courier for someone else, they added.
