Rs 7.82 lakh gold crown donated to Saibaba temple

The crown, studded with precious stones, was donated by a Bangalore-based educationist today, the third Monday of Hindu month 'Shravan' which is considered to be an auspicious occasion, they said.

The officials, however, did not reveal the donor's name.

Earlier, an unknown devotee had donated two diamonds studded in a gold pendant worth Rs 1.18 crore to the Saibaba trust on August 1.
