"Rs 700 cr worth of Momentum Jharkhand proposals implemented"

Out of the Rs 3 lakh crore investment proposals that came during the Momentum Jharkhand investors meet in February, Rs 700 crore have already been implemented on the ground, state Chief Minister Raghubar Das said here today.

"MoUs worth Rs 3 lakh crores was signed during the Momentum Jharkhand' meet. Out of which, proposals worth Rs 700 crore have already implemented on the ground," Das said.

Jharkhand has abundance of mineral resources and the government was striving to elevate the state to a new height with proper utilization of the resources, he said expressing confidence that the state would be in the line of developed states of the country in next 3/4 years.
 

While inaugurating a park at Baridih here, the chief minister said that the objective of his government was to ensure livelihood for people of both rural and urban areas and and make people-oriented development plan a success.

"We have made provisions of Rs 700 crore for skill development for youths and established Village Panchayat Secretariat in all the panchayats of the state," he said.

Das said that 100 youths- both men and women- from each panchayats have been identified and were being trained to expunge the scar of migration.

He said that eradicating poverty from the state was the commitment of the government as well as the target of his life.

To increase green cover in the state, he said that the government would plant 2 crore trees from July 5.
