Rs 8.35 lakh looted from bank

Six armed miscreants looted Rs 8.35 lakh from Madhya Bihar Grahmin bank branch at Cheharia village in Bihar's Kaimur district today, police said.

The miscreants entered the bank by force and looted Rs 7.35 lakh after taking employees and customers present in custody, police said.

They later snatched Rs 1 lakh from a customer Satish Pandey.

After getting information about the incident, Superintendent of Police (SP) Ratanmani Sanjiv reached the bank with DSP and the station house office of Durgawati police Sashibhusan Thakur.

Raids are on to nab the miscreants.
