Two men riding a motorbike allegedly snatched Rs 8 lakh from two persons working as courier delivery men on Monday night in Central Delhi, police said today.
According to police, the incident happened at the intersection of Deshbandhu Gupta Road and Jhandewalan when two employees of Sai Courier were travelling on a motorcycle with five bags of cash to deliver them to a client at Jhandewalan.
The miscreants came close to the courier men from behind and the pillion rider snatched a bag containing cash Rs 8 lakh, the courier men told police.
The courier men claimed the duo sped away before they could react. They also claimed the miscreants were following them for quite some time but they did not suspect.
