A bag containing cash amounting Rs 90,000 was stolen from a customer in the premises of Nahan branch of a public sector bank today.
On the complaint filed by Sher Bhadur Thapa, owner of the bag, a case has been registered but no arrest made so far, Bhagat Singh Thakur, Additional SP of Sirmour said.
Thapa, a government employee in District Treasury Office, Nahan had gone to withdrew Rs 90,000 cash from local branch of State Bank of India.

Thapa placed his bag containing cash on one side and started removing the tape from the note, meanwhile someone picked up his bag and fled, according to the complaint.
When Thapa noticed that his bag was missing, he raised an alarm and Bank manager called police.
The ASP said police have gathered some important clues in the case as CCTV footage of the bank was clear and the face of thief can be easily recognised.
