Congress today raised the issues of farmers' suicide in Gujarat and rising unemployment in the country.

Raising the issue during Zero Hour in the Rajya Sabha, Madhusudhan Mistry said the recent government figures showed that the number of farmers who committed suicide in Gujarat has risen between 2012 and 2015.

As many as 91 farmers have committed suicide in this period because of high debt and crop failure, he said.

Mistry also expressed concern over rising unemployment and said the government has been able create jobs for 2,000 people in the last five years.

BJP leader Narayan Lal Panchariya demanded that the government should include 'Rajasthani' language in the 8th schedule of the Constitution.
