Nomination papers filed by three candidates for election to the lone Rajya Sabha seat of Manipur were found valid in the scrutiny held on Monday, officials said.
BJP candidate and Manipur's titular king Leisemba Sanajaoba, the Congress' T Mangi Babu and Honreikhui Kashung of the NPF had filed their nomination papers to the Assembly secretary on Friday.
Their nomination papers were found valid, Assembly secretariat sources said here.
The last date for withdrawing nomination is March 18. The elections will he held on March 26.
The lone Rajya Sabha seat of the state is held by Kshetrimayum Bhabananda of the BJP, whose term ends in April.
