Steroids worth Rs two lakh was seized from a resident of Attavar in the city today.
Assistant Drug Controller, K V Nagaraj said in a statement that the accused has been obtaining steroids in the form of tablets and injections from outside sources in Bangalore and Mumbai, for the past one year and selling it at high price to members of gymnasiums without required licence.
A case has been filed for illegally storing steroids.
