By surpassing its APP (Annual Production Plan) targets, the steel plant has made 3.85 lakh tonnes of hot metal and 3.38 lakh tonnes of saleable steel during the said period which are the best ever production figures.
Besides, APP targets were also achieved in production of sinter from both the sinter plants, crude steel production from SMS-II and HR Coil (Total). The Coke Ovens department too achieved the APP by recording an average oven pushing per day of 361.4.
In the month of May also, the performance was equally impressive, with APP targets being fulfilled in production of Sinter, Plate Mill Plates, HR Coils for sale and Saleable Steel production.
