Rich tributes were paid to senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Giriraj Kishore at a condolence meeting held today in his memory.
Giriraj, who was actively associated with the Ram temple agitation, passed away here on July 13 after a prolonged illness. He was 94.
A large number of people attended the condolence meeting at the Chinmay Mission auditorium here with RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, former VHP President Ashok Singhal and VHP leaders Vishnu Hari Dalmia, Pravin Togadia and Champat Rai among those present.

RSS leaders Suresh Soni and Dattatrey Hosbole, too, attended the meet along with leaders from the Sikh Sangat and other organisations and faiths.
Giriraj's body was handed over on July 14 to the Army Medical Hospital as per his last wishes.
