Rtd HIMUDA employees to get interim relief, DA instalment

The Board of directors of Himachal Urban Development Authority today decided to release 5 per cent interim relief from August 1 and six per cent Dearness Allowance to the retired employees with effect from January 1, 2016.

Presiding over the meeting of BoD, Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma stressed HIMUDA should commit itself to systematic planning and development of housing colonies and come up with indigenous strategies and innovative solutions for cost-effective and timely completion of housing projects.

It also approved proposal of medical reimbursement to HIMUDA employees after retirement to be run through Appolo Munich Health Insurance Company Ltd.
 

The Board accorded gave for the grant of bonus for the year 2015-16 to its employees as per the eligibility criteria.

The Board accorded approval to signing of MoU with Singapore Co-operation Enterprises for developing a smart township at Jathia Devi near Shimla.

Approval was also granted for construction of eight BHK flats including internal and external services in Residential Complex below BCS, Phase-II, Shimla at a cost of Rs. 2.71 crore.

The Board gave approval for the use of vacant land for sports activities in Housing Colony at Solan and 5 percent discount to the allottees of HIMUDA on deposit of tentative cost in lump-sum.

The Board also approved the proposal for purchase of land at Mauja Tatera, Tehsil Ghanari and at Mauja Chhetran, Sub-Tehsil Dulehar in district Una for developing of housing colonies.
