Ruhaan Alva, a fifth standard student in Bangalore, made a memorable debut at the Easykart Championship by claiming victory in the Mini 60 category in Castelletto, Italy.
10-year-old Ruhaan, supported by iconic Italian kart manufacturer Birel Art, grabbed pole position before winning both the pre-final and final on Sunday.
The performance was all the more creditable since Ruhaan had barely two days of practice at the track before the race weekend.
