Terming BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's 'Run For Unity' campaign as an initiative for national integration, party leader Vinay Katiyar today said that the move will lead to a new awakening among the people.
"The initiative has united the whole country and will lead to a new awakening among the people of this country," Katiyar who attended the programme at the Brijendra Swaroop Park here said.
Asked about the support to Lokpal bill, he said if the UPA government presents the bill with the amendments suggested by the BJP, his party would support the anti-corruption law.

Katiyar refused to talk further on the bill.
The 'Run for Unity' campaign was attended by just 500 people at the Brijendra Swaroop Park here, though BJP city unit was drummimg up support for the programme for the past one week.
In Vadodara this morning, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the 'Run for Unity' , which seeks to drum up support for his pet 'Statue of Unity' project, on the 63rd death anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The 'Run' will also start a campaign for collection of iron from all over the country for the statue.
It is being held simultaneously in 1,100 places across the country.
