An undertrial, who escaped from police custody in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, has been arrested in Rajasthan, police said today. arrest "Police has succeeded in arresting Sudershan Kumar alias

Kumar, allegedly involved in some illegal activities, escaped from police custody on March 24 while being produced in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kathua, he said.
A case was registered against him in this regard and a manhunt was launched to arrest him, he said, adding a constable was suspended for dereliction of duty.
Special police teams were constituted to arrest him, he added.
