Claiming that people of West Bengal have already sealed the fate of Trinamool Congress, CPI(M) state Secretary Surya Kanta Mishra tonight said running a coalition government with the Congress won't be a problem as both parties have experience of running the administration.

"The Trinamool Congress has declared a battle against the people of the state. And it was the people's demand that all the secular and democratic parties should unite to fight against the autocratic TMC. That is why people's alliance was been forged with Left, Congress, RJD, JD(U) coming together on one platform. The people of Bengal have already sealed the fate of TMC," Mishra said in an interview to a news channel.

When asked how both Congress and CPI(M) will run a government together, Mishra said, "Both CPI(M), Left Front and Congress have the experience of running the government. The Left Front was in power for 34 years, the Congress was in power before that.

"Plus both the parties have the experience of being in opposition during the TMC regime. So by counting on all these experiences we can run the government".

Mishra countered the allegation by TMC that 12 of its supporters were killed during these election phases, claiming the killings were a result of infighting within the TMC.
