The 37-year-old has battled heroine addiction in the past but post his rehab treatment 10 years back he has since sobered down, reported Daily Star.
"Forget wild partying or all-night bonking, Russell went on solo yoga enlightenment. He turned up alone at his local yoga studio at 2am, let himself in and meditated until 7am," a source said.
Brand was linked with a number of girls from his yoga class including Jordana Brewster's sister Isabella and Mexican artist Oriela Medellin.
Brand recently separated from his wife of 14 months Katy Perry.
