Funnyman Russell Brand has been sued for USD 185,000 by a man who has alleged he was hit by the star's car last year.

Victor Sneed filed suit against the British comic in October last year, alleging the 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' star knocked him down with his Range Rover in January, 2012, reported TMZ online.

He has now filed legal papers detailing his injuries, alleging he hurt his left hand and arm, hip and neck in the accident, and has already spent USD 45,000 on medical bills.

Sneed is also demanding a further USD 140,000 for future surgeries.

Brand has previously slammed Sneed's claim, insisting any injury he sustained was the "direct, proximate and sole result" of his own "physical bodily condition and constitutional composition".
