Russia has said that it was ready to cooperate with the new Bangladesh government to be formed tomorrow while regretting the opposition boycott of the recently held parliamentary polls.
"Russia confirms that it is ready to continue constructive partnership with a government which will be formed soon," media reports said here quoting a Russian Foreign Ministry statement.
It also regretted that key opposition parties in Bangladesh boycotted the parliamentary elections.

The statement came as western nations criticised the polls, with the US questioning its legitimacy calling for fresh elections that will include all parties.
The Russian backing came as new Awami League-led government is set to be sworn in tomorrow after it swept the January 5 polls with three-fourths majority following a boycott by the opposition.
The major opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its allies boycotted the poll, alleging free and fair elections could not be held under Awami rule.
They had demanded postponement of the polls. Political violence during strikes enforced by the opposition since November have left over 160 people dead.
