The body of a 40-year old Russian tourist who died here after suffering a seizure is lying unclaimed at the morgue of the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital (RGGGH) for nearly a month as his kin were yet to be identified.
Deputy Superintendent of Police, Government Railway Police (GRP) M Thillai Natarajan told PTI that Russian consulate officials were yet to identify the kin of the deceased in their country.
"So, there is a delay. We hope they will claim the body soon." Post mortem report stated that he died of natural causes, he added.

While he was about to board a train to Kerala from the railway station here on February 7, he lost his passport, credit card, driving licence and a wallet. He lodged a police complaint and was waiting here hoping for recovery.
On March 11, he suffered seizures and fell unconscious in the car park area of the station. He was rushed to the RGGGH by local people where he breathed his last within an hour.
Police and hospital authorities said the Consulate General of the Russian Federation here was informed immediately about the death of its Iwanow.
