Actor Ryan Reynolds, in character as Deadpool, spoofed Kanye West's "Saturday Night Live" backstage rant in a new video shared on Facebook.

In the video, Reynolds, 39, indirectly addresses the online petition that fans started to get Deadpool to host "Saturday Night Live".

The Change.Org petition already has almost 70,000 signatures, reported Us magazine.

"Listen up, Lorne Michaels. SNL took my Life of Pablo album without asking. Now I'm bummed. That and Rip Taylor," Deadpool said in the video, addressing the show's creator.

"I have got the biggest opening rated-R movie of all time. Are they crazy? I'm 50 per cent more influential than MC Hammer, Apostle Judas Iscariot, the KIA Sorento.

"Ten per cent more influential than Barbara Bush, the Muppets, Bob Newhart. Sixty per cent more influential than the iPhone 5, shredded cheese and Dr Ruth. Seven per cent less influential than the Urban Dictionary," the superhero added.

The rant spoofed the audio of West's similar backstage tirade, which leaked online.
