Srivastava, who took over from N M Borah, is an upstream petroleum professional with experience and expertise in exploration, drilling and production in oil and gas sector, an official statement said.
He joined OIL in 1977 and has since served in various capacities.
Before taking up his current position, Srivastava was holding the position of Director General, Directorate General of Hydrocarbon, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India. PTI COR PPB RG
