S Korea may start direct flight services to B'luru

South Korea today said it will explore the possibility to start direct flight services between his country and the tech hub.

Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India Cho Hyun today said he would speak with Korean air companies to start direct flight services to Bengaluru.

He stated this at the Korea Caravan 2015, Korea-Karnataka Summit, organised here by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.

"There are plenty of opportunities for Koreans to do business in Karnataka; Korea has no limits and is open for partnership and collaboration in many sectors," Hyun was quoted as saying by the state government in a release.
 

The event also saw the announcement of Korea as a "Partner Country" for Invest Karnataka 2016.

Deshpande at the event highlighted the opportunities in the areas of auto manufacturing, electronic system design & manufacturing and IT for Korean companies to invest in Karnataka for "rich dividends".

More than 20 Korean companies, including Samsung and Hyundai, participated at the Plenary Session of Korean Carvan 2015.
