S R Jindal award to four activists

The S J Foundation has also chosen to honour RTI activists Subhash Agrawal and Ajay Shankar Dubey and Sanjeeb Singh Katiyar for their fight against corruption and exposing corruption using various methods inlcuding the Right to Information Act.

The award was decided by a jury headed by former Chief Jistice of India R C Lahoti.

In a statement, the Foundation said "SJ Foundation has chosen to honour Subhash Chandra Agrawal with SR Jindal Prize for 2012 under the category 'Crusade Against Corruption' for "his untiring and continuous effort to expose corruption."

Satyendra Dubey was allegedly killed for raising issues of corruption in the construction of highways, while Ajay Dubey used RTI Act to expose corruption at various levels in Madhya Pradesh.
