SAD appoints observers, assistant observers in Punjab

To strengthen party structure at the district level, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today appointed senior party leaders as observers and assistant observers across the state.

A party spokesperson said Badal has entrusted the job of strengthening the party setup at the district level across the state into the hands of some "zealous and vigorous" faces of the party.

He said that in this regard, Akali leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has been assigned as observer of district Amritsar with deputing Sarbjot Singh Sabi as assisant observer.

Manpreet Singh Ayali has been deputed as observer of district Barnala while making Ravikaran Singh Kahlon as assistant observer.

 

He said for Bathinda district, MLA NK Sharma and Parambans Singh have been assigned as observer and assistant observer respectively.

Sewa Singh Sekhwan and Tirath Singh Mahla were deputed as observer and assistant observer to Faridkot district.

He said MLA and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia and Tanvir Singh Dhaliwal have been appointed as observer and assistant observer of district Hoshiarpur while Iqbal Singh Jhunda and Gurpeet Singh Raju khanna were deputed as observer and assistant observer of Jagraon (Police district).
