Sadbhav Engineering standalone Q2 net down 64% to Rs 10.13 cr

Total income from operations rises to Rs 594.62 crore from Rs 375.41 crore in the year-ago quarter

Sadbhav Engineering today reported 63.8 per cent decline in its standalone net profit at Rs 10.13 crore for the quarter ended September.

The company had reported a standalone net profit of Rs 28.06 crore in the July-September quarter of last fiscal, it said in a filing to the BSE.

The company's standalone total income from operations went up to Rs 594.62 crore from Rs 375.41 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.

The total expenditure increased to Rs 557.34 crore from Rs 348.01 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY14, it said.

Sadbhav Engineering focuses on infrastructure projects, including construction of roads, highways, bridges, irrigation supporting infrastructure and mining.
 

The company's shares were trading 4.36 per cent down at Rs 246.50 per scrip during afternoon session on the BSE.
