Sadbhav Engineering Q2 net declines 33% to Rs 19 crore

Total income from operations during quarter declined to Rs 616 crore from Rs 746 crore a year ago

Sadbhav Engineering Ltd today posted 33 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 18.5 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 27.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, Sadbhav Engineering said in a BSE filing.

Total income from operations during July-September quarter declined to Rs 615.6 crore from Rs 745.9 crore in the year-ago period.

The total expenditure fell to Rs 575.6 crore from Rs 686.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.

Sadbhav's business currently focuses on infrastructure projects which include construction of roads and highways, bridges, irrigation supporting infrastructure and mining.
 

Today Sadbhav has constructed more than 4,200 lane km of roads and highways (both national and state highways) while 3,500 lane km are under various stages of construction, according to its website.
