Firebrand saffron leader Sadhvi Prachi surrendered before a court here and got bail in connection with a warrant issued against her for participating in an agitation against slaughter houses four years ago.

Prachi surrendered before the chief judicial magistrate yesterday after a warrant was issued against her for not appearing in the court, government counsel Rampal Nehra said today.

On May 12, 2011, during an agitation against slaughter houses in Badaut town, she along with others had resorted to traffic blockade on Delhi-Yamunotri Highway, the counsel said, adding a case against her was lodged in this connection at Badaut police station.
