SAFL sets target to disburse Rs 300 cr loan to farmers in FY18

Private sector NBFC Sustainable Agro Commercial Finance Limited (SAFL) has set the target to provide loan worth Rs 300 crore to farmers in financial year 2017-18.

"SAFL has set the target to disburse loans worth Rs 300 crore during next financial year," SAFL MD and CEO Arvind Sonmale told journalists here.

He said quantum of disbursement is estimated to be around Rs 200 crore in current fiscal, ending March 31.

Sonmale also announced foray of SAFL in Madhya Pradesh.

He said SAFL has set the target to disburse loan worth Rs 20 crore to farmers in state in next financial year.
 

SAFL would open its branches in eight towns in state including Ujjain, Ratlam, Hoshangabad, Betul and Vidisha.
