IAS officer U.Sagayam, inquiring into the illegal granite mining, today began another round of inquiry, officials said.
Observing that there was rampant corruption in illegal mining, the Madras High Court had recently granted Sagayam some more time to submit his report on illegal granite mining in Madurai district.
Officials said the inquiry committee, which had not received any reports from many government departments,would receive them during this sitting.The staff were also busy compiling all the reports, they added.
