National record holder Sahana Kumari won gold in the women's high jump on the second day of the 79th Railways Athletics Championships here today.
Sahana, a London Olympian and representing South Western Railways, cleared a modest 1.76m to win gold at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. She holds the national record of 1.92m.
N Manikandaraj of South Central Railways and Merlin K Joseph of Western Railways became the fastest male and female athletes of the championships.
