Saibaba followed Seva Dharma: Mungantiwar

Saibaba followed the 'Seva Dharma' (a religion based on service) and various Saibaba temples in our country and abroad are spreading the said thought, Maharashtra Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar said.

The Minister inaugurated the world Saibaba temple conference here which is being organised by Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust (SSST) on Sunday for planning the Saibaba samadhi centenary year in 2018.

Leader of Opposition in state assembly Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, state water resources minister Girish Mahajan, SSST chairperson Dr Suresh Haware, trustees and chairpersons of Saibaba temples from US, England, Germany, New Zealand, Malaysia attended the conference.

"We should try to spread thoughts of Shri Saibaba through Sai temples," said the Minister.
 

Vikhe-Patil said chairpersons and trustees of Sai temples in the country and abroad, should try to spread teachings of Saibaba. "It has been observed that some people are misusing of Saibaba's name and using for commercial purposes the name of revered saint," said Vikhe-Patil.

SSST chairperson Haware said today there are 3,000 temples of Saibaba in various countries, which include 400 temples in abroad.
