Pune's Rohan Sakalkar and Thane's Sagar Patne entered the second qualifying round in the BSAM Maharashtra State Senior Snooker Selection (leg 2) Championship on Tuesday.
Sakalkar dropped the first frame but recovered to tame Puneet Thakkar of Mumbai 3-1 (15-58, 63-22, 67-35 and 65-52) in the first qualifying round at the Bombay Gymkhana here.
Patne came from behind to overcome Sharad Sharma of Mumbai 3-2 (29-65, 64-38, 23-56, 43-10 and 57-16) to advance to the second qualifying round.
