A sales tax official was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while accepting bribe of Rs 15,000 today, an official said.
Sales Tax Assistant Commissioner (Class I) B P Parmar was caught by ACB sleuths when he was allegedly accepting bribe of Rs 15,000 today, the official said.
"We had laid a trap based on a complaint to nab Parmar who had sought money to return official favour. We caught him red-handed when he was accepting the amount in his office," ACB sources said.
Parmar was immediately taken into custody, they added.
