A 45-year-old salesman was robbed of cash and strangulated to death allegedly by unidentified men in Shamli town, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when Tejbir, salesman of a wine shop, was robbed of Rs 10,000 cash by the accused. Upon resisting, they strangulated him to death, they said.
A case has been registered in this connection, they said, adding, no arrests have been made so far.
