Singer Sam Smith has launched his own charity, aimed at helping young homosexuals to come out to their friends and family.
The 23-year-old "Stay with Me" hitmaker, who came out as gay last year, said he wants to become a "voice for gay youth" wishes troubled youngsters look to him for help.
"I would like to become a voice for gay youth in difficulty around the world. I just created a foundation," Smith was quoted as telling French magazine Tetu.

He previously revealed he was once the victim of violence due to his sexuality.
"When I moved to London I got punched in the neck walking back from work... I was on the phone speaking quite loudly and had pink earphones on, so it was pretty clear I was gay.
