'Avatar' star Sam Worthington has settled an assault case against him by quietly entering into a conditional dismissal deal.
Worthington, 37, who had been charged for allegedly assaulting a photographer in February, was not present in Manhattan Criminal Court on April 8 when his lawyer took a conditional dismissal deal on his behalf, reported New York Daily News.
The actor wrote in a signed statement submitted to the court, "I understand that as long as I continue to lead a law-abiding life, this matter will be dismissed and sealed."
The Australian actor was arrested in February for allegedly hitting photographer Sheng Li, 37, during an altercation involving the actor's model girlfriend Lara Bingle.
