Sanghvi Forging bags orders worth Rs 10 crore

Vadodara-based Sanghvi Forging & Engineering Ltd (SFEL) has received orders worth Rs 10 crore from oil & gas, power and shipbuilding sectors, the company said today.

"The company has received fresh orders worth Rs 10 crore from oil & gas, power and shipbuilding sectors. The majority of the orders received by the company are for its new heavy open die forging plant," the company said in a statement here.

The company's newly-started heavy open die forging unit with the capacity of 15,000 MTPA has increased the company's forging capacity fivefold. The company is receiving good amount of orders from oil & gas, power and ship building sectors for its new plant, it said.
 

The company already got 25 approvals for the new plant, which includes multinationals and Indian conglomerates. The total order book size as on September 22 is Rs 38 crore and out of this around 75 per cent is domestic and the rest is from export orders, the statement said.

"The new spate of orders from the oil & gas and shipping sector show that our quality is being increasingly accepted by them," Sanghvi Forging Managing Director Jayanti Sanghvi said.
