Sanitation workers quarantined at the government medical college here are allegedly being served only dried 'poori' in breakfast, prompting the administration to form a team to probe the incident.

A video, which has surfaced on social media, purportedly shows the sanitation workers throwing the food packets with dried 'poori' in dustbins.

District magistrate N P Singh said, "A clarification in this regard has been sought from the medical college administration and a team has been constituted under the Chief Medical Officer to probe the incident."

The contractual sanitation workers are quarantined by the medical college administration in batches.
